Job Description

RESSCO is looking for an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician (Work Orders / Unit Turns) for our community in Monroe,MI. RESSCO owns and manages thousands of units in multiple states in the Midwest. This position is ideal for someone looking to be involved in multi-million dollar real estate transactions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with senior management and will gain keen insight into what it takes to be a successful commercial real estate professional. Job Summary: Maintenance Technicians are responsible for demonstrating the highest level of customer service at all times, general building and ground maintenance, general maintenance of currently occupied apartments, troubleshooting mechanical and maintenance issues, appliance repair, electrical work and plumbing and conducting move-in/ move out inspections. Key Qualifications
  • Positive, "How can I help " attitude
  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience of repair work
  • Knowledge in HVAC, painting, drywall, plumbing & electrical repairs
  • A/C Certified Type I-II (Universal Preferred)
  • Availability for rotation of after-hours emergency maintenance calls
  • Must enjoy interacting with people with ability to develop rapport quickly
