Position Summary
Roosevelt University seeks a Full-time Campus Safety Officer for the Chicago Campus.
The Campus Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of all students, employees and visitors to the university.
This role is located at the Chicago campus; the schedule is 8 hour shift with two consecutive days off. This is a 1st shift position from 6:30AM-3:00PM. Additionally, this is a union position and will require union membership; health and wellness benefits is provided by the union.
The salary for this position is $19/hour.

Working Conditions
Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds of weight or pressure). Regular use of desktop computer is required, calling for frequent hand/wrist movement and repetition. Moderate level of stress. Occasional travel within the local or regional setting may be required
