Pay Rate: Local $30/hr and Travel $36/hr

Schedule: Straight 8-hour shifts; every other weekend required
Job Overview: A healthcare facility in New York is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its Pediatric Float Pool . This role requires experience in a Level 1 trauma environment and involves direct and indirect patient care responsibilities across various pediatric units.
Qualifications:
Current New York State CNA certification
CPR certified or eligible for re-certification
One year or more of patient care experience
Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including vital signs , toileting , bathing , and feeding in accordance with patient assignments
Serve as a safety companion to patients identified as safety risks
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Respond to the needs of pediatric patients with consideration for normal growth and development
Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to address patient needs and ensure safety
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to effective communication across care teams
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help maintain a safe work environment
Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, and patient-focused care
Remain engaged in ongoing professional development
Preferred Experience:
Prior work experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
Previous experience in a pediatric care environment is highly valued
