About Scorability

Scorability is passionate about improving the lives of college coaches through a more efficient and successful athlete recruiting process. Coaches at every level in every sport use our world-class software to discover, evaluate, and recruit the right players for their program. Prospective student athletes benefit from a more direct and transparent recruiting process—one led by interested college coaches who can actually recruit them—helping the athletes avoid wasted effort and money on unnecessary services.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Moderation Associate (Entry-Level) to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a team assisting in research efforts, the gathering and cleansing of data from various sources, and the standardization of data to accommodate the company and customer needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research and data analysis, while helping the overall business. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. This role is perfect for individuals eager to learn, grow, and kickstart their careers with practical experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Data Review & Validation – Verify athlete, high school, club team, and coach profiles to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Data Updates & Maintenance – Regularly update records based on new information, including transfers, coaching changes, and athlete performance updates.
  • Duplicate & Error Resolution – Identify and merge duplicate records, correct inconsistencies, and ensure data integrity across the platform.
  • Source Verification – Cross-check submitted data with trusted sources (e.g., official team rosters, recruiting databases, social media confirmations).
  • User-Submitted Data Moderation – Review and approve user-submitted data updates while flagging suspicious or incorrect entries for further review.
  • Process Optimization – Identify trends in data issues and suggest improvements to automation or workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams – Work closely with customer success, product, engineering, and customer support teams to improve data quality and address reported discrepancies.
  • Reporting & Documentation – Maintain detailed logs of changes, flagging patterns of incorrect data, and helping improve internal data guidelines.

Experience We’re Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools including Microsoft Excel.
  • Excited to gain an understanding of data cleansing techniques to ensure data accuracy.
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and data formatting skills.
  • Results-oriented and committed to meeting or exceeding marketing goals and objectives.

  • Flexible Time Off + generous holidays off for a good quality of life
  • Health benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision — 100% paid for employees
