THE ROLE

The Director of Recruiting will lead all recruiting efforts across Home Office and salary and hourly field positions, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and high-quality hiring experience aligned with Indigo Road’s culture and brand.   • Design and execute a scalable recruiting strategy that supports company growth, new openings, and turnover management across multiple hospitality brands and locations.
  • Lead and develop the recruiting team, including in-house recruiters and provide field based hiring support.
  • Establish clear recruiting standards, service-level expectations, and hiring best practices for Home Office, Hotels and Restaurants.
  • Partner with Operations and HR leadership to forecast hiring needs, develop proactive staffing plans, and support peak seasonal demands.
  • Support leadership hiring, succession planning, and internal promotion strategies.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting for salaried managers.
  • Ensure a consistent, inclusive, and hospitality-driven candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain structured interview guides, selection tools, and hiring workflows.
  • Build and maintain pipelines through industry relationships, referral programs, schools, community organizations, and hospitality networks.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO, FCRA, and background check requirements.
  • Own recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, turnover trends, cost-per-hire, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Optimize use of the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting technologies.
  • Use data and market insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes and processes.
Requirements for Success:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience recruiting for hospitality, restaurant, retail, or hotel organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, recruiting compliance, and high-volume hiring practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Experience supporting rapid growth, multi-brand, or geographically dispersed organizations.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruiting analytics tools.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Flexible to work nights and weekends when necessary, based on business and staffing needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to travel to field locations as needed.
