Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Midland, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining critical documentation processes for the energy and natural resources sector. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility of technical documents while supporting organizational goals. Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain standardized policies and procedures for company documentation. - Ensure technical documents, such as blueprints, reports, and drawings, are current and stored systematically. - Facilitate and oversee the transmittal of technical documents between clients and vendors. - Monitor internal approval processes for engineered equipment drawings to maintain project schedules. - Inform team members of updated document versions and provide guidance on accessing them. - Conduct audits to verify adherence to established documentation procedures. - Compile and organize documents for easy retrieval and secure storage. - Scan and digitize physical documents to create accessible electronic records. - Collaborate with various departments to streamline document control practices. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience in document control or a related role. - Proficiency in document scanning and digitization processes. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to compile and manage large volumes of documents. - Familiarity with technical documentation, including drawings and blueprints. - Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation. - Knowledge of industry-specific documentation standards and practices. - Excellent communication skills to effectively notify personnel of updates and procedures.
