Position : E-commerce & SEO Specialist

Work Hours (Client) : Monday to Friday - 8:30 am - 5pm EST Full-time, Permanent

Pay Range : $1000 - $1550/month 

Holidays : Local Holidays with Flexible PTO and some US Holidays (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Location of Search : LATAM, South Africa, Phillipines, or other

A growing medical e-commerce company focused on delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented professional to join our team as an E-commerce & SEO Specialist. This role will be instrumental in enhancing our online presence, optimizing our website, and improving our e-commerce operations.

​ Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized professional with strong expertise in Google SEO, e-commerce platforms, and web optimization. While full-stack development experience is a plus, the primary focus is on SEO excellence, product catalog management, and website performance optimization. You will collaborate directly with leadership and sales teams to maintain and improve our online storefront and ensure a seamless digital experience for our customers.

SEO Optimization

• Execute full-scale Google SEO strategies, including technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO.
• Optimize site architecture, page speed, schema markup, XML sitemaps, meta titles, descriptions, headings, alt text, and internal linking.
• Conduct keyword research focused on long-tail, high-intent terms.
• Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and heatmap tools.
• Provide regular reporting on traffic, rankings, and optimization outcomes.

E-commerce & Web Management

• Manage online product catalogs, including adding/editing SKUs, variants, pricing, and product descriptions.
• Assist with platform migration from WooCommerce to Shopify and provide guidance on hosting transfer if needed.
• Optimize checkout flows, payment gateways, shipping calculators, and inventory integration with vendor systems and CRM tools (QuickBooks, HubSpot).
• Collaborate on theme customizations, template editing, and layout improvements to enhance user experience.
• Ensure website accuracy and consistency in content, pricing, and product availability.

Development & Technical Support 

• Customize website themes and templates for improved functionality and user experience.
• Implement responsive design updates to ensure optimal performance across devices.
• Assist with front-end code (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) for site enhancements.
• Support back-end functionality (PHP, Node.js, or similar) where needed.
• Collaborate on CMS platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify) to maintain, optimize, and improve site performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions without disrupting existing systems.
• Advise on potential improvements for website migration, integrations, and hosting.
• Document technical changes and processes to ensure team knowledge and consistency.

Project Management & Collaboration

• Work closely with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to plan and implement website and e-commerce updates.
• Manage tasks and updates efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met without errors.
• Document processes and communicate clearly to maintain operational consistency.
• Suggest and implement creative improvements that enhance the website and customer experience.
• Coordinate with graphic designers and other team members as needed for campaigns and promotions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Language requirement: English Communication Skills

Experience: 5+ years of experience in related role

• Strong proficiency in Google SEO, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization.
• E-commerce platform experience (WooCommerce and Shopify preferred).
• Experience with product catalog management, website optimization, and analytics reporting.
• Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Back-end exposure with PHP, Node.js, or similar technologies is a plus.
• CMS experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and ability to collaborate on website improvements.
• Experience with basic graphic design (Canva, Photoshop) is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely across time zones.
