Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves digitizing physical documents, organizing filing systems, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient operations. The position is initially short-term, with the potential for extension or transition into a receptionist role. Responsibilities: - Scan and convert physical documents into digital formats using provided equipment. - Upload and organize files into an electronic filing system to ensure easy accessibility. - Review and clean up the existing physical filing system for improved organization. - Maintain both digital and physical records with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. - Collaborate with office staff on-site to streamline document management processes. - Ensure the security and confidentiality of all files handled. - Use a company-provided laptop for document uploads and digital storage. - Adapt to potential changes in duties, including receptionist responsibilities, once the initial project is completed. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support, office tasks, or similar roles. - Familiarity with scanning equipment and electronic filing systems. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Comfortable handling physical paperwork and file boxes. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. - Proficiency with basic computer operations and software. - Reliable and punctual for daily on-site work.
