Step Into a Day Shaped by Precision

Morning kicks off with a walk-through of the production floor. You review the preventive maintenance plan, check status on key presses and other packaging equipment, and prioritize any urgent items from overnight. By mid-morning, you’re tracing signals on a control panel using schematics, verifying a pneumatic circuit, and deciding whether a repair should be completed in-house or handed off to a trusted contractor. In the afternoon, you validate the quality of vendor-performed work, update logs, and partner with production leaders to ensure uptime, safety, and efficiency are all trending in the right direction.

What You’ll Tackle

• Own the preventive maintenance program for presses and other manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems; test machines and sub-assemblies after service.
• Determine when repairs are best completed internally versus by outside vendors.
• Oversee and verify the quality of work completed by third-party contractors.
• Diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and cooling systems.
• Collaborate with production management and line operators to maximize equipment utilization.
• Work safely and efficiently in all tasks and environments.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of directly related maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics (machine shop experience is a plus).
• Hands-on proficiency with common hand tools and precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment, including electrical wiring and components, pneumatic systems, water/cooling systems, hydraulics, and general maintenance.
• Foundation in basic electrical and mechanical principles, metal fabrication, and materials applications.
• Physical capability to stand and walk for approximately 75% of the shift, with some lifting and pulling required.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics and electrical troubleshooting.
