**Truck and Trailer Installer** **Location: Otay Mesa** **Pay: $25-$30** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Installer to assemble, install, and customize a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. This role involves installing chassis to truck frames, receiver hitches, and sheer plates, as well as completing van uplifts. **Responsibilities** + Read work instructions and installation directions. + Gather materials and properly build equipment. + Test performance before delivering the unit to a final product audit. + Assemble and install service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, hydraulic systems, welding, and other mechanical items. + Complete jobs on time while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using hand tools, mechanical assembly, and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret work instructions and installation directions. + Experience with assembling and installing various truck and trailer components is a plus + Ability to test performance and ensure quality before final audits. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company with a long-standing history since 1848. Enjoy a five-day work week with paid weekly, paid time off, and paid holidays, including Black Friday and Christmas Eve. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
