**Job Summary and Responsibilities** A CommonSpirit Health Traveler RN is a direct clinical patient care registered nurse (RN) who provides independent patient care within their scope of practice. The nurse is highly skilled in patient care; actively enhancing core nursing skills and developing advanced nursing knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors through education and involvement in nursing activities beyond basic job requirements and responsibilities. **Why join our Travel Program:** + Be part of creating the foundation for the CommonSpirit Travel Program + Have a voice in establishing the practices for the CommonSprit Travel Program + Work with a Program Director who is also a nurse + Feel welcomed as you travel to facilities within one organization with one mission, vision, and values. + Eligible for special pay in addition to base pay (shift differential, overtime, extra shift, etc.) + Full-Time positions + Days, nights, and weekend shifts are available + 13-week assignments (may be extended based on business need) **Benefits:** While you're busy impacting the healthcare industry, we'll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, tuition assistance, adoption assistance, and more! \#LI-CSH \#L&Dtravel2025 **Job Requirements** + Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., labor and delivery pediatrics, maternal-child health) + ADN or Nursing Diploma + Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license + Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and (ACLS). + Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility, state license and other regulatory requirements for local, state and federal agencies. + Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served. **Preferred:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) **Where You'll Work** At the heart of CommonSpirit Health's ministry are the national office departments that provide the foundational support, resources, and expertise that empower local communities to focus on what they do best-caring for patients.
