Job Description

Attention all emerging and eager professionals! An established boutique labor and employment law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a driven administrative professional to support their dynamic office. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with attorneys and paralegals on a variety of tasks and projects in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys throughout the various stages of litigation by preparing legal correspondence, briefs, and exhibits as needed.
  • Support court filings by preparing documents for filing through electronic case management software.
  • Ensure timely responses to client inquiries by efficiently directing incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Provide support to the paralegals in terms of organizing documents, assembling binders, and assisting with ad hoc projects.
  • Back-up the front desk receptionist as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced. You hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least one (1) year of in-person administrative work experience, ideally in a law firm environment.
  • Service oriented. You have stellar interpersonal skills and communicate both internally and externally with polish and professionalism.
  • Microsoft expert. You have advanced knowledge and familiarity with the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Pragmatic. You are a go-getter, and approach tasks with enthusiasm while also demonstrating a strong ability to organize and manage competing priorities.
  • Team centered. You thrive as a member of a team and are the first hand up to volunteer to help get the job done.
