We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic injection molding machines, ensuring that all production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong commitment to quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts according to specified production schedules and quality standards.
- Set up machines, including installing and changing molds, adjusting temperatures, pressures, and other process parameters as needed.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools and equipment; document results and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in training new operators when necessary.
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate records related to machine operation and production output.
