Job Description

Position: RTRO, a thriving Los Angeles-based startup, is on the search for a proficient React Native Engineer to elevate our Ecommerce iOS application. Despite our LA roots, we’re offering a remote position specifically for candidates located in San Francisco, CA. Join our compact yet expanding team and leave your mark on a state-of-the-art product in a dynamic startup atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and sustain a high-performance Ecommerce iOS application with React Native.
Work harmoniously with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to roll out new features and improvements.
Deliver clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
Diagnose and debug application issues to enhance performance and user experience.
Implement responsive designs, ensuring consistent user experiences across various devices.
Boost the app’s performance, reliability, and scalability.
Stay current with the latest advancements in React Native and contribute fresh ideas to the group.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience with React Native, with a significant emphasis on iOS applications.
Comprehensive understanding of mobile development concepts, including APIs, authentication, and data management.
Proven experience in integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization methods.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment to the Apple App Store.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with a team.

Preferable Skills:

Experience with Ecommerce platforms and payment integrations.
Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch.
Knowledge of Android development and cross-platform optimizations.

Compensation:

Salary range from $140,000 - $152,000 annually in San Francisco, CA, depending on experience.
