Our well-funded Los Angeles-based startup is currently seeking an experienced and proactive React Native Engineer to join our remote team, based in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will be an integral part of our cross-functional product teams working on innovative consumer tech products that cater to social media users, digital content creators, and mobile-first consumers. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in mobile development, boasting 3-6 years of experience in the industry, and who is ready to take on the exciting challenges of a growing startup.

Position Overview

As a Remote React Native Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our mobile applications using our tech stack. Your job will be to ensure that our apps provide excellent user experiences, interact seamlessly with our backend systems, and remain updated with the latest industry standards and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in mobile development
• Certified in React Native and Android Advanced Development
• Proficiency with tech stack: Jest/Detox, REST APIs, Flutter/Dart, React Native, Fastlane, Play Store Console
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
• Experience with remote work tools and practices
• Home office setup with a reliable internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• Apple Developer Certification
• Google Mobile Web Specialist Certification
• Experience working in agile teams
• Experience with consumer tech products
