Job Title: Registered Nurse – L&D / Postpartum / Nursery

Location: Syracuse, NY

Shift: Nights – 3x12s (36 hours/week)

Contract: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)

Status: Accepting both Local and Travel RNs

Compensation:

• Up to $75/hr for Local RNs

• Up to $82/hr for Travel RNs (including stipends)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn nursery stay .

• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery.

• Circulate and scrub for C-sections.

• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care .

• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team .

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols.

• Float between L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in:

  • Labor & Delivery

  • Postpartum

  • Nursery

  • C-section circulation & scrubbing

Certifications (Must be Active Prior to Start)

• RN License ( State-specific or Compact )

• BLS – AHA
