Job Description

Hiring Department Computer Science Job Description HPC Lab in the CS department is seeking a highly motivated and talented MS graduate to join our research group as a Research Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in high-performance computing, machine learning, and big data analytics. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and other graduate students on developing scalable algorithms for large-scale data processing, designing innovative storage systems, or advancing AI applications in scientific computing. Responsibilities

  • Conduct original research in GPU Computing
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate algorithms or prototypes
  • Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and conferences
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science
  • Strong programming skills in C++
  • Familiarity with parallel computing, cloud platforms, or data analysis frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Prior research experience is preferred but not required
