3 days/week (alternating weekends)
11.5-hour shifts
34.5 hours/week
Shift: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Local Rate: $2,000 – $2,380.50 per week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Post Partum/Mother Baby Registered Nurse to join a compassionate and high-performing maternal health team. This role focuses on supporting new mothers and newborns during the critical post-delivery recovery period in a community-serving hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver specialized postpartum and newborn care in a supportive, patient-centered setting.
Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and assist with conscious sedation procedures.
Monitor maternal and infant health, ensuring safety and appropriate recovery.
Educate families on newborn care, feeding, safety, and postpartum expectations.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum 2 years of maternal and child health experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
Active New York State RN License (NYSED verified).
AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
