Position: SAP FICO/BPC Analyst
Location: Remote
Type: Contract to hire
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO)
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for financial processes and systems across the enterprise.
- Work closely with Finance, Controlling, and Corporate Accounting teams to understand business needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Serve as Functional Lead / Point of Contact for all SAP Finance related business process matters (System Upgrades, Defect Resolution, CR Management, Implementation(s), Country Rollouts, etc.)
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of core SAP FICO Configuration (both ECC & HANA) to resolve outstanding issues, as well as identify business improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of operational SAP FICO in a multi-tier architectural setting
- Extensive experience in supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles by ensuring timely and accurate system processing of financial data.
- Working knowledge of all the integration points between SAP Finance Sub-Modules & other modules, and particularly Sub-Ledger to FICO integration.
- Demonstrated understanding of Bank Accounting, Intercompany Accounting processes in a B2B, Services based setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support SAP BPC Solution (classic and embedded models).
- Maintain and improve BPC planning templates, data manager packages, and business rules to meet evolving planning and reporting needs.
- Analyze system changes and coordinate with technical teams for any enhancements or bug fixes.
- Support internal audits and compliance efforts by ensuring SOX, GAAP, and internal policy alignment within financial systems.
- Lead or contribute to internal projects including SAP upgrades, new module rollouts, and integration with third-party systems.
- Provide documentation, training, and ongoing user support for finance applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues impacting finance operations.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of Financial Consolidation & Planning
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in report and input template building on EPM Add-on for Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated knowledge of the usage of ABAP and script logic, as well as data modelling in SAP BPC
- Demonstrated ability to build an SAP BPC Model & Dimension(s) by leveraging base finance knowledge of ERP Enterprise Structure.
- Demonstrated ability to perform SAP BPC Configuration that conforms to specific business requirements.
