Job Description

Summary: 

The primary responsibility of this faculty member is to coordinate and deliver instruction throughout the School’s pharmaceutics course sequence, both for the in person and online pathways, requiring expertise in one or more areas of pharmaceutical sciences, such as pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug delivery, pharmaceutical chemistry, or related disciplines. The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s mission through high-quality teaching, impactful research, and service. Other course work may be assigned at the discretion of the Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Responsibilities: 

• As determined by the Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences contribute to the delivery of the pharmaceutics curriculum throughout the School’s curriculum for both in person and online cohorts.
• Participate in committee assignments as required by the School.
• Participate in service to the community in accordance with the mission of D’Youville.
• Participate in scholarship and research that align with area of specialty that will satisfy expectations for tenure.
• Serve as an advisor to Pharm.D students

Requirements:

• Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline from accredited college or university
• Postdoctoral experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to utilize various software programs

Pay: $90,000.00 - $92,500.00 Annually

The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.  Faculty rank will be commensurate with education and qualifications.
