Corporate Associate (M&A Focus) – 4th to 6th Year
Location: Open to multiple major markets | Philadelphia, New York, Nashville.
Our client, a highly respected full-service law firm, is seeking a Corporate Associate (4th–6th year) to join their growing Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group . This role is ideal for a mid-level associate looking to deepen their experience across a broad spectrum of corporate transactional work.
What You’ll Do:
The successful candidate will support and lead on matters including:
Mergers & Acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side deals)
Equity financing / capital raising
Private fund formation and structuring
General corporate counseling for closely held companies, startups, and growth-stage clients
Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents and entity formation documents
Ideal Background:
4–6 years of relevant corporate experience at a nationally recognized law firm
Strong foundation in M&A, venture capital, and/or fund formation work
Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
Experience advising founders, executives, and institutional investors is a plus
Admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligible to waive in
