Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager with a background in public accounting to join our team in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a meticulous approach to managing tax projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality client service while overseeing tax research and compliance tasks. Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed research on income tax issues and provide accurate solutions. - Perform tax research related to representation and tax controversy matters. - Manage and oversee multiple tax projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion. - Communicate effectively with clients, both in writing and orally, to address their tax needs. - Resolve general tax inquiries through intermediate-level research and analysis. - Handle audits, reviews, and compilations with precision and a focus on compliance. - Prepare corporate tax returns and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. - Utilize tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for efficient tax processing. - Collaborate on entity formation tasks and provide guidance on tax implications. - Maintain a strong commitment to detail and uphold a high standard of work ethic. Requirements + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Master/CPA/CPA candidate a+++ + 5+ year's experience in public accounting dealing with partnership, trust, and HNW individual returns + Hands on QuickBooks experience (CCH Pro Systems Axcess Tax Software, Pro Systems FX Engagement and BNA Income Tax Planner a+++) + Hospitality/Restaurant client experience a big plus Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
