Job Overview:
The Ad Platforms design team within Services is responsible for creating intuitive, learnable, and consistent user experiences for its tools. This role focuses on specifying user input and interaction mechanisms while driving innovation across products. We are seeking an experienced UX Writer who is passionate about user experience design and eager to shape the development of advertising interfaces for the App Store and News. The candidate will write for both new provider- and consumer-facing tools and maintain existing user interface copy. This role involves close collaboration with designers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Design team to address UI challenges based on product requirements.
• Work with Product teams to incorporate feedback, contribute ideas, and enhance content performance.
• Own and maintain the copy deck, ensuring smooth review and handoff processes.
• Contribute to a design system by providing logic and rules for various use cases.
• Participate in design reviews and product meetings to advocate for the tone and language used in the interface.
• Engage in QA processes related to copy and file bugs as needed.
• Understand customer goals, business requirements, and technical constraints to deliver within project parameters.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience writing for advertising and/or monetization platforms.
• Strong passion for user-focused product experiences.
• Curiosity about all aspects of the user journey, from error states to success criteria.
• Ability to balance storytelling with systematic thinking.
• Experience working with and creating wireframes and functional specifications.
• Proven ability to explore multiple solutions before proposing the best one.
• Strong communication skills to develop and present well-informed points of view.
• Ability to write from scratch, edit existing copy, and collaborate with team members.
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills for managing multiple projects.
• Experience delivering impactful presentations at all organizational levels.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with contributing to and implementing style guides and shared patterns.
• Excitement about evolving ecosystems of hardware, software, and services.

Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Pay Range: $80 - $90

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
