EDV International is an Importer & Distributor of boutique wines that focuses on emerging & artisan brands. As a Sales Professional your main role is to represent EDV International to existing and new wine shops, restaurants and bars in the marketing and selling of our products. You will be the right person to join our team if you have an outgoing personality and have a passion for constantly learning and talking about wine & food.

Responsibilities:
•  Present, promote and sell products using industry knowledge of wine and food pairings and an understanding of wine production
•  Perform cost/benefit/needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs
•  Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
•  Reach out to customer leads through prospecting
•  Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
•  Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
•  Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
•  Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
•  Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
•  Continuously improve through one-on-one sessions with company Sommelier

Skills:
•  Proven work experience in restaurant or wine sales industry
•  Knowledge of MS Office
•  Strong oral communication skills for effective presentations and ability to tailor to audience needs
•  Highly motivated and target driven
•  Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
•  Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
•  Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Job Types: Independent Contract & Commission
•  Sales: >1 year (Preferred)
•  Prior Experience in wine sales and/or food and hospitality industry is desirable
•  Customer service: >1 year (Preferred)

Education:
•  Minimum: High school or equivalent (Required)

License:
•  Driver's License (Required)

•  United States (Required)
