We're looking for an Augmented Reality Engineer intern to join our team! What you'll do: + Own the development of new interactive experiences from prototype to product release + Work closely with other teams to bring your features to Lens creators + Push the boundaries of our AR platform and pave the way for external developers to easily do work at these boundaries. + Past interns have worked on a variety of different projects such as Procedural Mesh Builder, Real time Image Marker Tracking, Connected Games Lenses and Bitmoji AI Assistant. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: + Ability to program highly interactive experiences independently on mobile platforms + Proficiency programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages (C#, C++, etc.). + Interest in the Augmented Reality field + Great communication and project management skills; ability to work in a team Minimum Qualifications: + Working towards a BS or an MS degree in fields such as interactive design, video game development, spatial computing, etc. + Still continuing school in Fall 2026. + Experience working with digital content creation tools (2D, 3D, etc) + A creative portfolio is required for this role Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with a 3D game engine like Unity or Unreal + Experience with Lens Studio + Experience designing, prototyping, and programming with real-time 3D engines, including but not limited to Unity, Unreal, Three.js, OpenFrameworks, Processing, and WebGL/OpenGL. + Understanding of 3D graphics concepts and familiarity with 3D packages (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema4D). \#LI-DNI **A Decade of Snap ( **:** Learn about our origin story, values, mission, culture of innovation, and more. **CitizenSnap ( **:** In our third annual CitizenSnap Report, we demonstrate progress towards our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals, and we lay out our plans looking forward. **The DEI Innovation Summit ( **:** Watch highlights from the 2nd annual DEI Innovation Summit, which brings together thought leaders and DEI experts for a day of courageous conversations to enable bold action. **Snap News ( **:** Stay up to date on the latest and greatest product and innovation news at Snap Applicant and Candidate Privacy Policy (
