  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident authorized to work in the United States
  • Must hold a valid Tennessee Armed Security License (Guard Card) No exceptions
  • Proficient in firearms handling with the ability to qualify on additional weapons if required
  • At least 2years of experience as a security officer
  • Good moral character with no convictions for DUI, domestic violence, drug/narcotics offenses, theft, or other dishonest acts
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged from U.S. military service
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • No physical limitations that would prevent the safe performance of required duties
  • Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Basic computer skills needed to operate security-related equipment
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate CCTV and other security systems to protect people, property, and assets
  • Conduct regular patrols to deter, detect, and report suspicious or unsafe activity
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and incidents; document and report all findings
  • Enforce access control procedures, verify identification, and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
  • Deliver professional customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or other team members when necessary to maintain safety
  • Maintain a strong security presence while enforcing property rules, by-laws, and applicable city, county, and state regulations
  • Communicate critical information clearly and effectively to clients and fellow officers
  • Assess and respond to potential risks while upholding all agency policies and standard operating procedures
