Entry Level Desktop Support Specialist Location Fort Wayne, IN :

A re you computer savvy and enjoy supporting end users? If so, Fort Wayne Newspapers is looking for you to be the company's Desktop Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Perform desktop support, ie.e. hardware, software, network, printers, and scanners, for all internal users, both on-site and remote
• Set up new user accounts and profiles, handle any password issues, and support the training and rollout of new applications
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix Tier 1 & 2 IT-related issues

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols
• Basic understanding of networks, PC computer support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Good hardware skills with an understanding of Dell & Lenovo laptops, peripheral equipment, printers, basic networking, and other competencies to resolve issues promptly
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently and communicate well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
