Software Engineer - Building Automation Systems

Responsibilities

Work at our customer locations across the New York Metropolitan area:

• Programming and configuring Building Automation Systems in proprietary object-oriented programming languages.
• Designing user interfaces for Building Automation Systems to effectively communicate system status and feedback to the end user.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of video management and card access systems.
• Troubleshooting and fixing issues for existing customer systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Systems Networking, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, similar engineering discipline or equivalent experience required
• Past IT experience where you acquired troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and customer relations required
• 2 years prior BMS programming experience preferred
• Knowledge of Schneider Electric, Distech or Tridium preferred
• Proficient with TCP/IP networks, Windows 10 and Windows Server platforms setup and maintenance
• Vehicle and clean license a plus.
