Position Overview Our client is looking for a Telecommunications Technician to maintain and remedy communication systems. Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting communication systems, routers, switches, and wireless networks. Qualified candidates will be able to accurately diagnose service issues and provide elevated service to clients. Successful candidates will have strong problem-solving skills and be adaptive to novel issues and environments.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range : $60,000.00 - $65,000.00USD /Annually
Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain voice, data, and video communication systems.
- Run, terminate, and test fiber-optic and copper cabling.
- Troubleshoot and repair telecom equipment, wiring, and network connections.
- Perform system upgrades, component replacements, and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct site surveys and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure systems meet safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Document installations, service calls, and network configurations.
- Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and service providers.
Qualifications - Experience with telecommunication systems, cabling, and network hardware/software.
- Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PBX systems, routing, and switching.
- Ability to use cable testers, OTDRs, and diagnostic tools.
- Understanding industry codes and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to work in varied environments.

The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibi lity to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
